Magic is back and we are now a force to be reconed
with. We have stopped the ritual
and are ready for the rest of the dungeon.
While in the lower cavern we are taking time to search. Grayson is flying around searching for
hidden or invisible creatures. I
am tracking around the sunken cavern looking for signs of either undead or
other creatures. Nothing that leads
back into another tunnel.
Seth finds a secret door in the far wall. We actually find two flat spots and we
think it is another door. Nothing
is making noise on the other side and the door is not locket. Markass opens the door and activates
his lantern. Mark cast spells and
readys for combat. We find an
alternate way into the last hallway.
As markass moves down the hall he finds another symbol of
concentric circles. The door is
locked and we are not able to open it.
Kemee takes a dozen or so blows and brings down the door with my sledge
hammer. Once the door is open we
enter a room that is cluttered and scattered. This once great room is molded and destroyed. Roughly 800 years of neglect. The statues in the walls are of
gargoys. There are three chest and
some moldering furnature.
As kemee enters the room ther is a figure. He is a sketal wizard wearing robes
from roughly 800 years ago. There
are two red pin pricks of light coming from the eyes.

my way to the front and launch three undead bane arrow at the creature and
hit only once. Grayson come

- As I
am paralysed the gargoyle comes to life and strikes me three times with

affect either the lich or the gargoyles
- I am
not able to make my will save so I am still paralysed

move back down the temple we are prepaired at the end of the hall near the

much time but our tactic is to cast silence on the arrow. The range of the arrow makes the
party silent and sneaking.

After the body is destroyed we spend the next hour searching
the room. I take time to search
room and donÕt find the body of grayson.

about the fact that we canÕt find her body.
At this point we are debating weather or not to go back into
the temple and take on the demon or head back to town. We are hurting and we are low on
spells. Malark says that it will
take two or three days to bring us back to where we need to be.
After much discussion we decide to head back to town. The trip takes roughly 8 hours from
cave to town and then another hour to leave the temple. We are heading to a farmers barn near
the cave and stay there for a day or two.
